A Heartwarming Moment During My Placement in Alice Springs 🥹

One of the most heartwarming things during this placement was meeting a **Thai junior** who had been following my Atom Dek Nurse Facebook page. She saw that I was doing my nursing placement in Alice Springs and reached out to say hi.

I was super busy with my placement and she was also working full-time, so we couldn’t meet up—even though we tried a few times.

But finally… she surprised me right at my accommodation! 😭

From Working Holiday to Nursing Dreams

She’s been in Australia for 3 years on a Working Holiday visa, and now she’s planning to study nursing too! 😍

When she first messaged the page asking about study options, I never imagined we’d actually meet in real life. That day was so warm and beautiful.

Thai Food That Warms the Heart 🍚

She brought me so much food—lunch boxes, savory dishes, desserts, snacks… 😭

And the food was delicious! She even said, “I know you don’t have a rice cooker, so I cooked the rice for you.” I almost cried.

This Kind of Feeling... Is Truly Priceless

This has been one of the most memorable placements for me. The hospital was great, the nurses were kind, and the university supported us so well.

And today… something small made a huge difference in my heart 🥹
